Hochfilzen walking tips
Grießner Upland Moor, duration approx. 1 hour, nature and bird reserve
EASY walk to Griesensee lake You can observe a wide variety of bird species from the tower. Take a break on the terrace in the Seealm inn.
Römer Sattel – Schüttachweg, duration approx. 4 hours - MEDIUM
This walk takes you over the Römersattel on the pilgrimage route in to the Pinzgau area. From the centre of Hochfilzen to Vorderkaserklamm. This path crosses a restricted military area, so please obey the warning signs.
Kirchl, duration: approx. 2,5 hours – MEDIUM
You start by walking towards Kirchl - then turn left on the Hüttenboden. Then you come back via the Wiesensee lake.
